Guys, 9 days left of school! I’m telling you, this school year went by so fast! Last year was so much fun and one of the best years of my life so far but it didn’t go as fast as this year. This year however was so much fun too. But I feel like I didn’t really get to blog about school that much.  Not like last year when I blogged about every single detail of my day. Haha oh how naive I was in my Freewebs days. But I’m really gonna miss this year, and all my teachers, my class mates even though I’ll see them next year, it won’t be the same without all of them in my classes. Especially because a lot of people are going away to college.

9 days, and then all my finals, regents, and SAT’s. Ughh. I have a final next week too. But at least it’s easy because it’s sign language and then we have the rest of the last few days to chill. I’m gonna make sure to take tons of pictures on the last day of school so I can put it up on my wall and remember everyone. It’s so bittersweet because I’m glad it’s over especially all the work but I’m sad because I’m beginning to realize I won’t be seeing my friends anymore. And I’m gonna miss a lot of my teachers so much because some are really memorable to me. And another sad thing is that it doesn’t feel like summer. It’s been Spring weather and people are still wearing jeans and jackets compared to last year where we were wearing shorts and tank tops since March. I can’t believe there’s only 9 days. It doesn’t feel like it at all.

Did your school year go by really fast like mine did?

ALSO, NEW LAYOUT! I was gonna wait until after school ended to put it up but I couldn’t stand it any longer. It’s partly inspired by Saruna even though I had the idea of this kind of layout before hers was up, some of the css ideas are from her. And also I used a tutorial from Abduzeedo. I hope everyone likes it! I worked really really hard on it and the coding took forever! No joke. Tell me what you think!

These days I’m starting to feel that music is dying. It seems like there’s no more originality anymore and everything is fake because they can fix your voice up in the studio. I personally think the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana killed music. hehe. I don’t have a personal vendetta against them or anything but ever since they became famous, music just kinda sucks.

And the weird thing is, it seems like any song can be the worst song ever but if you put it on the radio on the pop stations it becomes an instant hit. Like the song, Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas, I think it sucks. Major ass. But just because it’s by that group and it’s all over the radio, doesn’t mean it’s any good. It just seems like music was so much better a year ago because everything right now is just blah.

Also, has anyone heard about what’s happening with Coldplay? They’re getting sued or something by two different people who claim that Coldplay copied their songs for their hit, Viva La Vida. I listened to the other peoples songs and one of them sound really similar. What happened to making your own music and writing your own stuff? That’s why I really like Taylor Swift because she writes all of her songs and the music to them and they’re great. Why can’t singers write their own material? Anyways that was my little boring rant. Hope you enjoyed it, because I just had to get it off my chest.

Also, you may be noticing some changes going on around the site. They’re all minor changes I’m making to ease into my new layout. I need to put up my new layout badly but I don’t have to time so I’m doing everything piece by piece.

In English class, we’re reading a book and it’s about the south and a whole bunch of stuff I don’t know because I don’t pay attention. But anyways our teacher who’s really weird in my opinion but really young like in her twenties thought it would be cool to watch videos of this show she saw channel surfing would help us depict the book in a new way. She told us about this show on CMT that her friend told her to watch because it was just ridiculous some of the things on it and it’s called My Big Redneck Wedding and it’s about weddings in the south.

In my opinion, I think that’s just gross. But I understand not everyone wants a fairytale wedding but at least make it nice and memorable. I guess it partly depends on where you live, how you grew up, and your own perceptions of what your own perfect wedding should be but I just think it’s tacky that they did that. I’d want my wedding to be perfect in every way and certainly not dirty like theirs but I shouldn’t be the one to judge because I don’t know how things are done in the south but it’s just strange to see how other people in different regions do things.

[EDIT] May 23, 09: I do not mean to offend anyone by this post. I’m just merely showing you something I saw in school. I did not say anything to offend anyone. I’m just stating my opinion that I thought their wedding was strange and not something I would want for my own wedding. I stated that I understand that not everyone is the south is like that and I never said that. Don’t twist my words around. I don’t have anything against what they did because that’s their life and their choice to do that. You need to calm the freak down. Jk. hehe.

1. Alarm clocks: Has to be the most annoying sound ever
2. SAT’s: I just feel there is no point to them
3. Texting commercials: Annoy the crap outta me
4. Snobby accents: You know, the kind of accent snobby rich people have
5. McDonalds: I like it but I feel it’s making America fat. ha
6. Cold: It should be 75 degrees all year
7. Slow walking people: I want to hit slow walking people in the head with my textbook
8. Commercials: I wish I had TiVo.
9. MTV Dating Shows: I thought MTV was about music!
10. People who tell stupid stories: NO ONE CARES!
11. Grades obsessed people: You’re already smart, stop freaking out dammit.
12. Southern Accents: OMFG you have no idea how much I hate them!
13. Commercials right before the results: American Idol, you need to stop.
14. Stepping in something wet with your socks on: I hate this so much.
15. Pop up ads: These people who make those need to get a real job
16. Rattling Keys: I know this girl who keeps hers on her jeans. OMFG. Put it in your bag!
17. People who talk in a different language around you thinking you don’t understand: Trust me, I understand.
18. People who write checks at the cash register: You’re holding up the line!
19. Network logos on the corner of the TV: You’re blocking the show!
20. Miley Cyrus: You are so much better when you act because you’re not being yourself
21. Dropping your toothbrush in the toilet: Happens to me too many times
22. Criticizers: Just leave me be
23. Brown nosers: Mind your own business!
24. Russel Brand: You are not funny. Get over yourself.
25. Lips Cracking when you smile/laugh: Where’s my damn Chapstick when I need it?

Spring is finally here! No more coldness! Thank god! I hate the cold so much! I’m gonna go to the beach and tan! And then to the most amazing shack ever with the most amazing fries. Now all we need to get rid of is rain! We had a few days where it was like summer and it was 90 degrees and I almost died because of the heat but now the weather is just absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to be able to do my homework outside every day, too bad there are bugs. Ugh, they need to go extinct. Anyways, that’s really it. This post was basically pointless. lol

Btw, on one of my Freedback accounts I couldn’t log into my account and it killed me inside because I deleted some forms by accident and couldn’t see them so I emailed them and asked them to fix it and they fixed it the next day! They have great service, are very friendly, and help you right away! So go take a visit! Clicky!
