This 18 year old Derry City native is no stranger to performing. He’s been singing professionally and touring for four years now with Irish singing group, Celtic Thunder. Already with years of experience under his belt, he’s now one of the top four contenders for the coveted guest starring role on Glee.

What do you get when you combine cat lovers, film makers, and green pants on loan from Cher’s dance crew? You get the “pop music” duo of Folded Light, although Jaffe says that’s probably not how it would be described; perhaps “easy listening?” Steve Damstra and Jaffe Zinn make up Folded Light.

Hannah McIalwain was a theater student at Queens University at Charlotte when one day, she saw a commercial for auditions for The Glee Project. She left North Carolina and made her way to Dallas for the auditions. On the show, she was known as MC Hannah with her signature, “Skadoosh” and her rambunctious laughter and smiles. Read on to see Hannah discuss the show, her leaving, and her future.

New York based indie alternative/pop group, Wishes and Thieves members consist of, Jolanda Porter (female vocalist), Mike MacAllister (guitar), Will Clark (drums), and Joseph Higgins (bass). They formed in 2010 and have since then been “compared to the likes of Bjork and Portishead.”

Ben Cooper otherwise known as Radical Face has got a new label (his own), new logo, and a new trilogy of albums coming out; along with the free EP he’ll be releasing next week. When he’s not working on films with his friends or spending time with family, he’s busy with his new trilogy of albums, Family Tree.

That’s exactly what Emily Vasquez did along with dazzling the producers with her personality. This native New Yorker took the Glee Project by the reins and made herself known not only as the flirty one but the one with the great belting voice.

There’s something to be respected in those who like music where you can “sense the person playing,” music “not killed by perfection.” Music these days is chock full of autotune, it seems there’s no way to escape it. But folk/ experimental/ slowcore artist Jacob Faurholt just may be the outlet if you too are trying to escape it.
