When I started photographing concerts and learning the ins and outs of the business, it sure as hell would have been nice if somewhere on the internet was a solid list of NYC venues listing photo pit availability. So here’s a list of venues in New York City with and without photo pits! The list will be constantly updated as photo pits come and go. Let me know if I forgot any venues!

There’s also a plethora of poorly lit bars that can be good practice, however it should be noted that these places are 21 and over.
