December Baking

with No Comments

I listened to both of Ariana Grande's Christmas albums, Christmas Kisses and Christmas & Chill, as I worked on this blog post and now I'm ready for the Christmas season to start all over again. With the presidential inauguration coming soon, I'm sure the entire world needs a bit of holiday cheer to brighten up the impending doom we're all about to face. Lorde have mercy on us all.

Annnnnyyyyways, December was such a whirlwind for me. The first two weeks of it had me caught in the chaos of finals as the semester came to an end. This semester really took a toll on me between work, school, commuting, and trying to maintain a personal life. I was so ready for it to be over that I baked up a storm once I finished. Well actually, once I finished my last exam, I slept for about two days to recover AND THEN I baked.

I spent a lot of time with the doodies and they love baking so they helped me make Christmas Oreo pops, some truly unique looking sugar cookies, rainbow donuts (their idea), chocolate covered pretzels, Christmas tree cupcakes, and brownie cookies. The blueberry donuts and corn muffins were things I made on my own to procrastinate, as per usual.
