New Politics: “Harlem” #Boyding Video

with No Comments

Let me just say that I’m incredibly happy for New Politics and their success lately. If you’ve seen Taco Bell’s new commercial on TV (which I believe is for Doritos Locos tacos?), the song being used is New Politics’ “Harlem;” and after being blown away by their show at Terminal 5 a few months ago, nothing makes me happier than seeing this band succeed. New Politics are one of the few acts that not only have a great dynamic when it comes to performing their music live but they’re also fantastic entertainers. I can’t wait to see them in concert again.

The band just released another music video for “Harlem” with lead singer David Boyd’s signature #boyding—which is his alternative to planking. The video is super cool. I guess you’d categorize it as stop-motion? I don’t know, I don’t want to pigeonhole it but the video concept is awesome and it’s backed by an even greater song. Check it out above!

New Politics is David Boyd, Søren Hansen, Louis Vecchio.
