Smith Westerns: “3am Spiritual”

with No Comments

Smith Westerns’ upcoming album, Soft Will, will be coming out on June 25th via Mom + Pop. And to torture us while we await this glorious day, Smith Westerns has released a new track, “3am Spiritual”. It’s been a long and grueling wait since 2011’s Dye It Blonde but if “3am Spiritual” is of any indication, this band has been spending their time honing their sound. “3am Spiritual” exhibits a growth in Smith Westerns’ sound that one can only attain with time well spent. This track embraces Smith Westerns’ carefree indie pop essence while exhibiting a more serene sound. Back in the day, Smith Westerns took over the scene with “Weekend,” embodying summer and youth. These themes continue with their newest track and with a summer release date, we can only imagine that Soft Will will continue to do the same.
