My friend Grace and I ventured into New York City on a snowy day in March. Visiting from Singapore, it was Grace's first experience with snowfall! We blissfully walked across Central Park as it ever so gently snowed down on us, stopping along the way for photos. I still remember how cold my legs were, as I foolishly thought it wouldn't be necessary to layer up. We also visited the American Museum of Natural History where we listened to Liam Neeson narrate the story of the big bang in the Hayden Planetarium, sat below the whale in the Hall of Biodiversity, and worked up a hell of an appetite getting lost on the way out of the museum.
Nancy Hoang created Hopeless Thunder in 2007. She conducts the interviews, writes the articles, photographs the concerts, and handles the site's coding & design. (Basically, she's a control freak.) Her work can also be seen on music publication, CMJ. Contact Nancy for image licensing, assignments, or just to say hi.
