The Avett Brothers: “Live and Die”

with No Comments

Words cannot express how happy this makes me. The Avett Brothers will be releasing a sixth album, The Carpenter, on September 11, 2012. ZOMG. “Live and Die” is definitely a change from previous work but it’s something old fans will love and new fans will embrace with open arms. “Live and Die” doesn’t leave the classic Avett Brothers sound behind. Its taken on a more pop sound, which may scare some old fans but the essence and sound of AB that we all love is still there. It’s perfect and if this is any indication of what the followup to the forever wonderful, I and Love and You, this new album will be just as good, if not better. I can’t wait for this release!
