The Mumblers: “Long After I Die”

with No Comments

I’m really liking the blues-y, folk, rock sound that is the Mumblers. Their first single, “Long After I Die,” off their Black Magic album is kind of menacing in its ability to make images of burning tobacco and scorching gas burn into your memory. No pun intended. The imagery this band is able to conjure up is very fitting to their musical style. With this track, they create a cool aura of well paced, foot tapping classic rock with a country twang. It’s the kind of track that will have great crowd participation, surely to bring the house down. I dig it and you will too.
