Step 1
Open up a new image document in Photofiltre.

Step 2
Take the text tool and make your text whatever you want. But instead of clicking OK click Transform to Selection.

Step 3
Using the Gradient tool make your settings like mine.

Step 4
Go to Edit >> Fade Gradient >> 50%.
