Andrew Belle: “Pieces” BTS Video

with No Comments

I can’t recall another album in the making that I followed as closely as Andrew Belle’s Black Bear. Believe me that I’m being honest when I say I’ve been keeping up on this new album like a vulture circling its pray. And today I’ve attained some closure with Andrew Belle’s newest single “Pieces,” which comes as a free download when you pre-order his album, Black Bear, on iTunes! The video follows the making of the album with some behind the scenes footage and the song that accompanies it? Well it’s amazing of course! Studio version: here.

I remember reading some Q&A’s on Facebook a few months back where Andrew commented (correct me if I’m wrong) saying that the new album would sound something along the lines of the Alternate Universe remixes of his Daylight EP, which I think totally makes sense now. “Pieces” completely has that Alternate Universe feel. It’s very expansive in its sound, much grander than previous Andrew Belle releases which I’m sure will sound amazing in a live setting. Unfortunately I won’t be able to see Andrew perform this Thursday at Mercury Lounge but I hope those that do have a great time. I’ll be there in spirit.

Pre-order Black Bear on iTunes and get a complimentary download of the single! You know I already have.

As a side note in case Andrew ever sees this post, which I doubt he will: When you’re not busy touring and promoting the new record, how about some more vlogs and covers? I miss those.
